Puppet Guardian
Puppet Guardian is a free-to-play on-line role-playing game that represents yet another burst from Japan’s explosion of animated culture. The game has much in common thematically with Hayao Miyazaki’s movies, in particular the mesmerizing Academy Award winning Spirited Away as well as Castle in The Sky. Puppet Guardian also shares Miyazaki’s devotion to animating his scenes in a rich and unique style. As you will see, the game is the achievement of developers whose work is a matter of personal pride. It is in the items and their details that the game’s designers express much of the fun, humorous, and endlessly detailed sensibility that defines Puppet Guardian.
Magical Rooms
Magical Rooms is another free-to-play online role-playing game using the Cold Gate platform. Players create characters, which we call Guardians, but unlike Puppet Guardian, Magical Rooms characters build beautiful, funky, or cool interiors to their own homes, and then defend from these interiors from monster attack. Your friends help you defend your space and are connected to your space through doors. Carry the items and powers you pick up in Magical Rooms to other games like Puppet Guardian. There is, of course, much more to Magical Rooms so when it arrives, be sure to try it out.
Ocean Book (Coming Soon)
Ocean Book is another game on the Cold Gate platform. This time your character will take to the high seas on a pirate ship or naval galleon with a crew of your friends to battle mysterious monsters from the deep as well as rival ships. Players will discover new lands for them and their friends to build upon.
Ocean Book will offer players its own set of powers and items and experiences, which can be carried from one Cold Gate game, like Puppet Guardian or Magical Rooms, to another.
