New Dice Game Stage – Golden Alakul River

Posted in: Puppet Guardian by Wero

Dear Puppet Guardians,
there is a new Tower recently implemented in the Japanese version. I know many of us were wondering about it. I must say I was more than curious about it myself, so I collected a few pieces of info for you. Here is the picture where the entry gates will be located on Tower XIII map:

Here, you can watch some of the footage videos from the development stage of Tower XV, take note of the amazing background music!

There will be monsters attacking from beneath the water:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=psmWxOhaEoQ

Golden Talon seems like a good weapon against large herd of crocodiles:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=b_aII7qH2WE

Be aware of some dangerously looking fish jumping out of the water:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=S0MJen7DR5s

From the videos, it looks amazing! Although, it seems really hard to be fighting half way deep in the water, I think we really need to master our skills properly first. At the moment, Japanese players are in the process of unlocking the new tower. They need to donate 3500 Venom Powders that can be synthesized from Poisonous Moth Powder.

I wish our Japanese friends good luck and swift unlocking, and as for us… off to get those Butterfly Bottles! The quicker we work on them, the sooner we will proceed to Garden of Sleep, and then, Tower XV – Golden Alakul River.

Wero’s Culture Corner – Japan

Posted in: General by Wero

A country of fragrant cherry trees, ancient temples on mist-shrouded hills, tea houses and traditional Japanese homes, yet, on the other hand a country of sleepless futuristic cities, fast-paced lifestyle and most modern technology that world can observe. That’s what I find most fascinating about Japan – the clash of culture and modernity, of tradition preserved parallel to highly developed infrastructure. Hence, Japan is for me envailed in mystery of hard to comprehend variety of coexisting contradictions. In one word, it is a wonder in itself. I met with Marisa with hope to understand more of Japan’s magic. We chatted about intriguing language and celebrations, but also about the PG twin versions, and her experience as a player of the two.

Wero> Hello Marisa! Nice seeing you, thank you for coming!
Marisa> Hello, Wero, thank you for inviting me today.
Wero> Let’s start with some basic Japanese for a beginner^^
Marisa> Ok, I think basic Japanese are ‘Konichiwa’ (‘Hello’) and ‘Sayonara’ (‘Bye’). We use it every day XD
Marisa> And also ‘Hajimemasite’ is ‘Nice to see you!’
Wero> How do you introduce yourself in Japanese?
Marisa> Watashi no namae ha Marisa desu.
Marisa> My name is Marisa XD ‘namae’ means ‘name’
Wero> So similar to English. How do you say ‘let’s tower together!’
Marisa> ‘Isshoni mawarou?’ means ‘tower together!’
Wero> What about ‘Congratulations’?
Marisa> ‘Omedetou!’ In PG when someone got a nice item many people say ‘Ome!’ it’s a shortened version.
Wero> Oh! Just like we create abbreviations in PG for English language. Great! Now I can use those stuff when I visit Japanese version! Until today, I mosty just say ‘Arigatou’ haha. But Japanese players are really kind!
Marisa> Oh happy to hear that!

Wero> I must say I have been very excited to make this interview. You play both PG versions, right?
Marisa> Yes, I first started in Jpn version and I heard about international version from friends there.
Marisa> When I first went to Tower 2 in international version, there was a small event and players invited me there : D They thought I was a beginner and taught me basics of PG! In Japanese PG, there are already groups and it was hard to make new friends. In international version they talked to me frankly and I was able to make friends : D
Wero> We would love to have more contact with Japanese players. So many of our players are following Artifact blog even though they can’t speak Japanese, and they go visit Japanese PG too!
Marisa> Jpn people are interested in international version too. So please chat with them when they come XD
Wero> Definitely, they are all such good PG players, we can learn a lot from them!

Wero> Well, let’s talk about your country then. Can I ask you where in Japan are you from exactly?
Marisa> I live in Kanagawa, just next to Tokyo. My school is in Tokyo, so I use train to go there every day.
Wero> Oh, I hope it doesn’t take too long!
Marisa> It’s just about 1 hour ; )
Wero> Would you prefer to live in Tokyo?
Marisa> I think it’s very convenient to live there.. but might be little noisy : P
Wero> What season do you like most in Japan?
Marisa> Spring is the best time! There are lots of cherry blossoms in Japan and it’s really so beautiful then! : )

Wero> What would you say are some important celebrations in Japan?
Marisa> I think New Year is the biggest celebration. We eat noodle called “soba” on 12/31. And there is a bell ringing from temples. It rings exactly 108 times on that night.
Wero> Oh, why such number?
Marisa> It’s a number of worldly desires and by ringing the bell we throw away bad desires and wish for happy new year.
Wero> That’s a great tradition!
Marisa> There is another interesting celebration in Japan. It’s on February, 4th and it’s called ‘setsubun’. We buy boiled beans and at home, we throw those beans to every room in the house. To get rid of the ogre, who live in the house, and to welcome good luck.
Wero> Oh! It must something like an evil spirit?
Marisa> Yes, it bring unhappiness to our house. And then, we eat sushi at the end!
Wero> Ow, I love sushi! There are so many different kinds of them, right?
Marisa> Yes, I can’t even remember all! When I go to sushi restaurant, the menu is so long! XD
Wero> Which one you think is most tasty then?
Marisa> I love kazunoko. It’s an egg of fish, herring in English, I think.
Wero> Yum! Is it your favourite dish, then?
Marisa> Haha, well.. I love cheese omlet best.. (oh, it’s not Japanese)
Wero> Haha
Marisa> I like noodles, called Udon Noodles. There are many types, but it’s mainly fried shrimp called tempura, and spring onions, and seaweeds.

Wero> Another amazing thing in Japan, which I admire, is Japanese kimono!
Marisa> Oh, I just wore it recently!
Wero> Is it still common to wear it on daily basis?
Marisa> No, it’s just on special day. It’s rare to see people wear kimono, only for some specific celebrations and events. There is a festival held often in Japan and people wear kimono called Yutaka to attend. That’s a more modern kimono. It’s easier to move with Yutaka!

Wero> I know quite a few players who want to learn Japanese. Can you tell us more about the language?
Marisa> Ok, so for example: “Mata aimashou” means ‘See you next time’ but Japanese words are placed opposite. ‘Mata’ means ‘next time’, ‘Aimashou’ means ‘see you’ So, it’s like ‘Next time see you’ XD
Wero> Maybe it is English that is diverted, not Japanese ; )
Wero> Well, it seems really difficult to learn.
Marisa> Yes, I think it’s also because we use 3 types of letters: Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. Katakana is mainly for words coming from overseas, like マリサ (Marisa). Japanese Puppet Guardian’s name must be in Katakana, we cannot use Hiragana or Kanji. Hiragana is used just like a normal alphabet. Small children use Hiragana for writing. XD
Wero> Ow cute!
Marisa> Yes :D And Kanji is Chinese letters to abbreviate long words. Like, in Hiaragana, word ‘hard’ is ‘むすかしい‘ = 5 words. But in Kanji it’s just ‘難しい’ =3 letters. So it’s more compact.
Wero> So, you can basically write words in two different ways?
Marisa> Yes! Both are readable.
Wero> It all seems amazing! Thank you so much for your time, Marisa!
Marisa> No problem, see you soon, Wero.

Mission: Explore! “The Cave of Trials, Part 2″

Posted in: Puppet Guardian by riversthepuppet

Cheers Puppet Friends!

Welcome to the ultimate Mission: Explore article! This week i’m gonna feature our brand new tower which is the 2nd level of the Cave of Trials tower. I hope you enjoy it and let me remind you that, with release of new towers, i will write additional entries for new towers. This will be final article for now, because currently we have only 13 towers.

You can access Tower XIII through last spot of Tower X. Which can be seen as named as “Door”.

What Makes This Tower So Special?

Along with new difficulties and adventures, this destination also promises full joy for us. With resource of  all-time need materials like Irons, Saltpeter, Silver and Gold Dices with additional White Dice (Helps you to roll backwards (!)) as well as many new and old items from creatures itself. Despite it’s long distance, which you can use if you have pet, nothing better than long journeys which can help you to level it up or longer way, more resources. Also you can see a totally new tower entrance inside Tower XIII as well which is The Garden of Sleep which has a NPC outside of it asks for 2000 Butterfly Bottles.

Be Careful About Creatures!

I know Butterfly and Beast Clothes may charm your eyes, but you have to be realistic, before entering this tower, because it’s uber difficult when it comes to monsters. Even though a Butterfly may look harmless to you, but if you only knew…

Anyway, when you first enter Tower XIII, first creature you will face will be the Knight Kobold which is an updated version of the Kobold which we know from Tower II & X. They are so annoying and has quite some damage, using fast results like xaps or high damage weapons always easiest solution for them.

And then here comes the Cave Moa which may remind you Dodos from Tower IV on Season 1. Difficulty shows up here as well, while you can use Magical Spark as well as Gunpowder xap, you can also use it’s own source (down) against as well.

The next monster you will face after our giant Cave Moa will be the Giant Lizards, which can drop Lizard Tails, Lizard Leather as well as the Fin of the Reptile. Though you better be careful about it, because it can poison you with the poison on it’s tail.

Our next creature can be the most the dangerous creature before boss. If you don’t be careful enough, you may end up on Tower X lobby. These Dragon Butterflies especially after getting poisoned by Giant Lizard (Not dreaming, happened to me!), can be quite deadly, but since they are weak to fire element, you can use xaps. I know i mention xaps on many sections of Season 2 towers, but they are really easy and strong way to survive here.

If you are obsessed by Beast clothes like me, i know you will end up hunting Dire Wolves as well. The only annoying part about them is their hp for me. Personally, i use Magical Spark and then a normal attack with my War Hammer. But i also saw people using Axe on them as well.

And finally the boss of tower Legendary Sleipnir arrives… Don’t get charmed by it’s beauty, because it will hit you on back. While it’s only vulnerable with Dark Magic. With you Shadow wand and Demon Crystals are very useful against it, i can also suggest you to use Dark Axe as well. But you better not stay very close to it, since it does huge damage with it’s attacks.

The Battle of Ragnarok Tournament

Posted in: Magical Rooms by Wero

A few days ago, the Battle of Ragnarok tournament event has been announced.

[see the official poster].

Now, I would like to introduce you to the rules that apply in this tournament. To participate in the Battle of Ragnarok, your squire must have physical (HP), intelligence (MP), and attack ability points (EXP) totaling 600 or less points.

Like in the above example, the squire has ability points totaling 600 or less, so this servant can take part in the battles.

Additional rule in this tournament is Weapon Class Block Rule.

Your squire will fight with an opponent in one of the blocks below according the class of weapon it has equipped:

★Weapons that fall under the “Others” of Block F include the magic books, Wooden Staff, Kunai, the Candle of Darkness, as well as those servants who aren’t equipped with any weapons.

Those with magic attack rings such as e.x. Rose Ring or equipped with a shield, will also appear in a specific block according to the weapon they were given.

The preliminary battles will take place by separate weapon blocks, and the surviving squire from each block will be able to advance on to the final tournament.

For every victory, you can receive a Small Medal and Silver. The winner will be awarded with a Holy Frosty Scythe and a Trophy for his efforts.

All in all, Ragnarok Tournament shows promise for yet another exciting event! I think with the weapon class block rule we should be expecting battles like never before, and witnessing the use of weapons that have never made it to the final stage. Plus, it seems quite fair for your squire to fight the opponent of the similar weaponry equipped.

Good luck training your squires for now and think through your battle strategies!

Deadline to sign up your squire: 27th January!

Wero’s Culture Corner – 春节 – Chinese New Year!

Posted in: General by Wero

新年快了! [January 23rd – February 10th 2012]

If you happen to visit Chinatown during Chinese New Year (春节 Chūn Jié: Spring Festival) you may be simply blown away by the deafening music, war-like sounds of firecrackers dangerously blowing up from beneath your feet and enormous Dragon dancing to the crazy rhythms of drums arising from the smoke of the burning incense.

Undoubtedly, Chinese communities around the world know how to celebrate properly! The time is coming that this important festival will engage some of our dearest friends in Puppet Guardian. If you are not among the lucky countries that enjoy this special time, you may find this post interesting to find out how your fellow Puppet Guardians will spend that significant time of year and read some stories behind it all.

When?
Spring Festival usually marks the first day of the first month of lunar calendar. But if you imagine you only have one night of fireworks and the traditional Chinese firecrackers to blast off, then you are very wrong. Chun Jie lasts 15 days (!) and ends with magical Lantern Festival on the last day. Who wouldn’t love that?

Preparations
Every family takes great measures to prepare themselves and their homes for the festival. Windows and doors will be decorated with red colour paper-cuts with popular themes of “good fortune” or “happiness”, “wealth”, and “longevity” to attract those virtues for the whole next year:

One that special night, family will gather for the meal abound in many traditional dishes. Later that night, firecrackers will be blown off to scare away bad spirits. I think the best part is the little Red Packets filled with money given to young people on the following day!

Symbolism:
What I love about the Asian cultures is the way they incorporate elements that are symbolic and of deeper meaning. Common example of Chinese New Year symbolism is the ubiquitous character (Chinese: 福, “blessings, happiness”) displayed on the entrances of Chinese homes. This sign is usually seen hanging upside down! Why? Because the Chinese word 倒 “upside down”, is homophonous with 到 “arrive”. Therefore, it symbolizes the arrival of luck, happiness, and prosperity.

Best wishes!
There are many different sayings that you can use to greet your friends on those special days. Most common:
新年快乐![xin nian kuai le] = ‘Happy New Year’.
I personally like the greeting:
招財進寶 Zhaocai jinbao – “May wealth be acquired, so that all the precious objects follow”. What’s most interesting is that Chinese decided to skillfully incorporate the whole sentence into one single character:

If you are still not convinced, let’s talk to some of our excited Asian players and ask them how they will spend this thrilling time.

Blackmintz – Singapore
I met with our lovely Blackmintz in her room where she invited me for picnics! Very Spring-style!
Wero> Hi Mintz, great to see you! I wanted to ask you about Spring Festival that is coming so soon!
Blackmintz> Ow sure, I’ll try my best to answer.

Wero> It’s such a special time, I bet there must be many traditions..
Blackmintz> There is a tradition that kids have to stay up on New year’s Eve. It’s called shou sui 守岁. Literally means something like „protecting age”. The younger ones must carry 2 mandarins and pay respect to the older ones. The older ones will then return 2 mandarin oranges so the mandarin oranges keep exchanging! XD Mandarins are auspicious symbols because their name sounds like ‘good luck’.
Wero> What about traditional food?
Blackmintz> Fish! It’s another auspicious sign and tradition. It is common that you have leftovers everywhere. ‘Fish’ sounds like leftovers. In Chinese we say: Nian nian you yu 年年有余 (Every year have leftover).
Blackmintz> Other traditions include: we can’t sweep the floor during new year, so that we don’t sweep away good luck.
Wero> Leave the house dirty? ;P
Blackmintz> We have spring cleaning before the new year but once the new year period, we can’t sweep.
Wero> Also, the firecrackers are quite grown into a tradition, am I right?
Blackmintz> Yea xD But you know, firecrackers were once banned in Singapore! So our new years were firecrackers-less. At least, when I was growing up. Now they allow it but with careful usage.
Wero> I was wondering: New Year lasts 15 days! Do you celebrate every single day?
Blackmintz> Traditionally, yes. But for us here, we only get 2 days holiday. So it can be a hectic visiting period.
Wero> Isn’t it different in Mainland China?
Blackmintz> Yes it is. I think they have 15 days holiday. It’s their “golden holiday”
Wero> Seems a bit unfair!
Blackmintz> Yes, but Singapore has many different races, so we enjoy all the holidays for every race and nationality.
Wero> Thank you so much for sharing, Mintz! I need to rush to other players check what they are up to before the celebrations begin!
Blackmintz> Thanx for visiting, Wero, see you!

Sosonanoka – Malaysia, Jave – Singapore
Wero> Hi Jave, Soso, aren’t you preparing for the New Year?
Jave> Yes I am =]
Sosonanoka> Yea. My mother has bought new things already XD
Jave> My grandma placed up decorations like lanterns and ‘good words’ like ‘study well’ or ‘good luck’, and lots of CNY goody.

Sosonanoka> We have a family reunion… Dragon and Lion dance at Chinatown..
Wero> Ow yes, it is believed that Dragon and Lion dancing can evict bad or evil spirits, right?
Jave> Yes. We also visit each other and give each other red packets containing money!
Wero> Oh! I would love to have that, lol. [*Jave gives Wero red packet*]
Jave> But we cannot give odd numbers like 1/3/5/7/9 cause it’s a bad luck.
Wero> How about traditional food?
Jave> Abalone!
Sosonanoka> I love Abalone : D
Jave> Tasty, tender thing =]
Sosonanoka> We also have lots of myth stories..
Jave> I know one! Can I tell?
Wero> Sure, I would love to hear it!
Jave> Once upon a time there was a monster that wakes up only once a year on the last day of the first month. The monster is also known to Chinese as ‘Nian’. After it wakes up it starts going around a small village to find people that it can eat. Then, after the last day he goes back underwater to go back to his deeeep slumber. Then, after a few years the villagers were scared so they decided to move up the mountain. All of a sudden, a man in ragged shirt appeared and he was hungry and wanted food. An old woman saw him and took him to her house and gave him something to eat. After the old man has eaten he told the woman ‘I’m here to help you to defeat the monster’. The man ordered the woman to take out some red paper and some wood. The old man took the red paper and pasted it outside the house of the woman and he put on a red cape. He also made fire and when Nian came it was so scared of the sound made by the fire and by the red paper outside the house and the red cape the man was wearing..
Sosonanoka> So the villagers found out those were things that scare him off!
Jave> .. and they do it every Chinese New Year. So when Nian wakes up he can’t find anyone to eat. Later, the woman realized that the old man was sent down from heaven by god to safe them.
—End of story—
Wero> That’s an amazing story, Jave! Now we know what’s with all red colors everywhere and papercut sticked to the doorways! Thanks for your time Jave, Soso!

All in all, although traditions and customs of the Spring Festival vary widely, most important of The Chinese New Year for every Chinese person is to reconcile, forget all grudges and sincerely wish peace and happiness for everyone. And that’s also what I would like to wish all our Puppet Guardians, and of course…

。。。新年快乐!

New Golden Weapons!

Posted in: General by Wero

Hello Puppet Guardians!

You must have noticed a lot of changes after yesterday’s server maintenance. One of the more exciting items that we can now try out in our version are the newly introduced golden weapons, among them – Golden Talon!

It can be synthesized from 10 Gold Nuggets. That’s how it looks when equipped:

You can now slash your enemies with fearsome Gryphon-like claws!

Although, at first glance, it may look like a bit uncomfortable weapon, it sits comfortably on your arm. Comfortably enough even for you to do crazy somersaults! Golden Talon literally brings a whole new level to PG fight!

The Talon’s special attack is pretty cool, you can see it on a video of a Japanese player practicing with the Talon:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=wv9VSQd6m7k

It takes quite a bit of skill to hit your target with the attacks, but once you master it, it can be quite powerful.

From now on, you can strengthen the Golden Talon up to a Paragon.

Among other golden weapons added, there is also:

I’m looking forward to seeing those items in the game!

Wero.

Mission: Explore! “The Underground Kingdom”

Posted in: Puppet Guardian by riversthepuppet

Cheers Friends,

Welcome to the one of the last editions of the Mission: Explore! series! This week i will feature dangerous Underground Kingdom for you. I hope you enjoy it! :D :D :D

You can enter Tower XII aka The Underground Kingdom through 42th spot from Tower X.

What Makes This Tower So Special?

With having Iron and Limestone both in Tower makes it most unique tower in Puppet Guardian. It also represents players Coppers and Ruby which is easier here to obtain than Tower VI. And let’s not forget the fact that this tower when it comes to it’s Graphics, Music and Creatures, it’s nothing, but pure fun. So while you tower on Tower XII you can do your quests as well as complete your goals such as Paragon Weapons or the clothes which Tower XII offers you.

Be Careful About Creatures!

I have to say this may be the the toughest tower you have ever faced in Puppet Guardin yet. Because there ain’t any monster in this tower which you ca count as “easy”, so my suggestion before entering the door of this dangerous land, just equip lots of good items with you. With many xapsi magic and strong weapons, there is no reason for you to not survive.  If we start with our first enemy which is the Small Golem, all i can say is, don’t use Lighting or Physical Attack against them, because they are really not weak against them. While you can use Nature (Emerald) Attack to it, you can also use Water Element attack to it in order to defeat it easily.

Then here comes the Medium Golem which i call them Pacminator (Pacman+Terminator), those bullets which it throws will just annoy you, so before collecting any item, getting rid of it can be best solution. While same conditions exist for this creature as well as Small Golem, you can also use Flame and Fire Xaps as well. Therefore Large Golems not any different from them, despite the fact that it’s slower and has shakers in it, which can turn you into Puppet Milkshake within seconds. With it’s Refrigirator type of look Large Golem may look cute to you, but you may want to use your Downs as Xaps against to it. ;)

And our last creature before boss is the Weird creatures dcalled Dwarf Ghosts. With it’s similrities to Wraiths which can not be killed or damaged with normal attacks unless user has Gauntlet or Bracelet equipped. While you can use Nature Element which is weak against to, you can also you Crystl Xaps which is quite useful against them.

And here the queen Arrives, despite the fact that 58% of this tower’s creatures sharing same name, this creature is amazing beyond all these creatures. I know many of you can feel a bit weak on this tower, since none of you need Nature Element before this much on any of the towers before. Probabably you are regretting for it, but if you are a hardcore Tower XII roller, it’s never too late for you to get your first Emerald and use against to this tower.  Strategically this Boss not any different than other creatures on this tower, so there is not really a tip for it, but all i can say is, since it can paralyse you, you better not stay very close to it. ;)

You can read more about Tower XII on Wikia page of our games. Thanks to Blahlala and Wero and also other secret angels for their hard work on these pages. Link: Mirror Realms Games Wikia

Thank you so much for reading! This was the third article of Season 2 “Splendid Mythos” towers, next week i will feature the brand new Tower XIII. Take care and see you until next edition of the Mission: Explore! series!  :D :D

PS: 12th Mission: Explore! in-Game event will happen this weekend on Jan 22th GMT time 01:00 PM (http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/) After couple of rolls in Tower XII, this mini in-Game event will end with a question which winner will receive a surprise item. You can see a picture taken during last week event on Tower X below…

Tower XIII, Preview

Posted in: Puppet Guardian by Wero

Dear Puppet Guardians,
time is getting closer to unlocking a brand new Tower XIII. New tower means new adventures, new successes and monsters to defeat, but most of all – new opportunities to have fun with friends! Here is a few useful info and tips about the Second Level of Tower X.

First of all, while looking at the map you can notice how far it is situated. (Seems like those Journeyman clothes were named like that for a reason). But don’t get discouraged. In the recently released Mechanical Treasure Chest you can obtain Underground Orb that can take you right to the front of the Underground Kingdom, which is just a stone throw away from T13. I hope you will manage to upgrade your Orb to High, so that you can take other puppet hitchhikers with you!

Secondly, a new tower for all of us means new exciting monsters to kill. This time get ready to meet Cave Moa, Giant Lizards, fearsome Dire Wolfs and long-expected Dragon Butterflies. List of new items to collect and synthesize from them seems endless and will enrich our inventories very soon! I don’t know about you, but I have been waiting for Butterfly set for so long!

Tower XIII is of a significantly high level of difficulty so I would suggest you to save on Healing items. Dragon Butterflies can skillfully put you to sleep and while you dreaming peacefully your health points go down the history. Similar story with Sleipnir: although it emanates such grace and majestic beauty, its hit is not pleasant at all and can end up dramatically for you.

Also, keep in mind, it is really hard to kill T13 boss. Apparently, it is only vulnerable to Dark magic. Prepare you Zoisite items, or, eventually, a lot of Demon Crystals (they will be used as Xap for a new magic spell equivalent of the Dark Staff magic). For those who still want to fight with melee weapon – Black-eyed Ganutlet is a must (or at least a friend with one).

Coming towards the end, I would like to mention a new item that I think will move PG experience into a new level – White Dice that will now be obtainable in T13. Many of us already know that it allows you to.. roll backwards! You will be able to use it everywhere in PG and once you get to previous spaces, you can collect items again. I bet you will be tempted to use it for hunting gems, but keep in mind that its best usage is in T9, where you can get to the ruined spaces and all mysteries hidden within them, unavailable til now! All I can say, it will be quite exciting as you will meet some of the monsters from Shasura battles times and, as the stories go, if you are lucky enough you can even get gem fragments from them!

Enough talking, get ready for the exciting ‘Unlocking T13 Event’ starting Tuesday, 17th January, and see you soon, as I bet our paths will cross in T13 very soon!

Open The Cave of Trials Second Level Contest

Posted in: Puppet Guardian by The Leaf

Hello Guardians:

I would like to announce our latest event.  It starts on January 17 and is a “Work Together” event to open the Cave of Trials Second Level.  We need to gather a lot of Rusted Gears to fix the broken door at the entrance.

The Mirror Realms Team (and some helpful players) will add enough gears to get us to the point where there are about 1500 remaining.  You Guardians will have to add the rest.  To add a little incentive we will be awarding special unique items from the Dragon line (shown below)  and the Raven line of items available only in Japan.  They will be awarded to two players who donate Lucky Gears.

The Contest

There two Lucky Gears.  The first is among the final 300 Rusty Gears  to be donated.  if you are the Guardian who delivers that Lucky Gear between gear numbers 24,700 to 24,800 then you will win a prize.

The second is one of the final 100 Rusted Gears.  if you are the one who delivers the lucky Gear between 24,900 and 25,000 gears, you will also win a prize.

BUT, for the final 300 Rusty Gears, Guardians can only deliver 10 gears in one turn.  If you deliver MORE than 10 gears in one turn, you will be disqualified.
How will we know who delivers more than 10 gears at a time and who is the lucky one?

SCREEN SHOTS!!

You must capture your contribution of gears with a screen shot and you must post this screen shot on the contest thread in the forum.  If you don’t know  how to Post please, send the screen capture to support@puppetguardian.com.  Specifically we want you to capture the chat box which will announce your donation and the total number of gears donated.  This will tell us who our winners are.

Mission: Explore! “The Dark Forest”

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the another Mission: Explore article! This week misterious Dark Forest which also known as Tower XI will be my feature, i hope you enjoy it and feel free to leave comment!

You can enter Dark Forest through Tower X map with spot of 19.

What Makes This Tower So Special?

After our exploring of Tower X last week, this time we will face this lovely destination. If you don’t count the fact that Dark Forest has many lovely graphics as well as it’s similarities to season 1 towers such as Tower I, Tower III, this tower also known for it’s goodies. Such as the Oaks, Limestones, Blue Herbs, Lithe Tails, Gossamers and many more. While you can use items which you collect from this tower in order to craft nice weapons, items, you also need to tower this for quests.

Be Careful About Creatures!

I personally think that Tower XI has one of the best graphics in game for it’s theme, this also continues for creatures. Like many others in game, this tower also has creatures from mythology. When you enter forest after Lizards, the first enemy you will face will be the Giant Spiders. Don’t worry about them, because it’s very easy for you to defeat them, you can use Unare Fireball as well as Unare Flame (From Magic Menu with correct Xaps).
One of the hardest creatures of this map is the Elasmosaurus which is the sister of the Tower IV map. I highly suggest you to visit previous articles in order to defeat this creature.
And before final curtain, here comes the Fungus, which is a walking Poison Mushroom, but with Unare Fireball and Flame, before they poison you with their attacks, you can easily defeat them.
And our final foe from this tower is the Legendary Ipiria. My only suggestion for this creature due to it’s rain attack is to attack it from distance, while you can use Long Bows which is a long raged weapon. But Xaps magics are also on other hand.

You can read more about Tower XI on Wikia page of our games. Thanks to Blahlala and Wero and also other secret angels for their hard work on these pages. Link: Mirror Realms Games Wikia
