Mission: Explore! “Lair of the Basilisk”

Greetings Everyone!
Welcome to the 2nd edition of the Mission: Explore! series! This week dangerous Tower II will be my feature, i hope you enjoy this and don’t forget to leave comment!

After starting our adventure on lovely Forest of the Beetle, now we will face a more difficult land. Monument of this tower which was written by Org also is another proof to see this danger…

 “Travelling on the back of a White Lion, we heard a rumor that miners had mysteriously failed to return home from their work in a mine close by. We descended into this mine to find them and there encountered a monstrous creature darkly lurking in the depths.

We defeated this beast, the Basilisk, and took its Evil Eye, so ruinously used, we soon discovered, to fossilize the poor miners. I have sealed this memory into the second tower.”

What makes this tower so special?

      Along with the reason Gems appear on this Tower, Tower II is also known for it’s iron sources. While building your character Iron will be very helpful for you. If you can get Zoisite gem from this tower (Can be found on Iron spots, 1% chance of collecting), you can start casting spells and increase your attack. But getting gem is always so hard, so you have to be patient. Mostly you get gems when you least expect it. So my suggestion while towering in this tower for you is to enjoy your time while making your weapons and get ready for suprises. While trying to get magic, you can also collect saltpeter to make Blazing Scrolls which can be made by pulp (Made by 3 Flax which can be obtained from Tower III, VIII and IX). With high damage of scrolls your adventure will be easier…

Be Careful About Creatures!

      Kobolds may look very harmless to you, but they are aggressive, so if you can attack faster than them, they will be less dangerous for you. Also you can collect leather and Bear Fur from Cave Bear to synthesize shoes (Will help you to walk faster) and nice clothes. The most dangerous 2nd creature in this tower is Fire Beetle. It can be quite painful for you, so when you face this creature, so my suggestion is until you have a decent strong weapon, just run!

      There is also one monster in this tower which will stone you, if you don’t be careful enough. The Creature called Basilisk along with the reason being boss of tower II is much more harder monster than tower I beetle. So you will have to spend more time on this dangerous creature. But when risk rises, incoming will also rise. Defeating of this scary monster has it’s own advantages. By obtaining Evil Eye from this monster as well as Dark Weapons from Dark Chest (Thieves Guild & 10G is required to open to get a random item), you will be able to stone monsters.

How to Kill Basilisk?

      As you can use high range weapons like Long Bow and Halberd, you can also use Axe for it’s high damage, but even on both situations, don’t forget to drink Holy Water, otherwise with breathe of Basilisk you will be stoned for 5 minutes!

Dark Element

Elements!

      If you don’t know already, Puppet Guardian magic is based on elements. And element of This Tower is Dark Magic which is within Zoisite gem.  So while some elements are powerful against other one, some of them are weak. While fighting Puppet Guardian, if you think about using magic, you have to consider about elements.

Events at Tower II!!!

      Every year during Christmas and Halloween Tower II gets it’s  own make up, as it happened some time ago for Halloween, on also Christmas, Tower II will also have some monsters like Big Foot, Christmas Kobolds etc…
