Mission: Explore! “Forest of the Beetle”

Posted in: Puppet Guardian by riversthepuppet

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the first edition of the Mission: Explore! series! This week, Tower I will be my feature. Every newbie in Puppet Guardian start their adventure on this lovely forest. Difficulty of this tower really challenges players at first. But after a while, those brave newbies become strong players. While on process of this transformation Tower I: Forest of the Beetle will be our starting point.

What makes this tower so special?

Giant Beetle Eye is a rare drop from Giant Beetle

Along with the reason of this tower being first ever tower created in Puppet Guardian. Some special items are in this tower. Like Giant Beetle Eyes which can be obtained from Giant Beetle boss from 19th spot on this tower can help players while increasing their character as well as increasing amount of their golds by selling it. A valuable item like this of course not easy to get, by patience you won’t be sad for the time you spent this item. Also every year on June, we get June Bridal Event, with this event A Giant Ant Queen appear on first spots of Tower V, this also drops Giant Beetle Eyes as rare drop.

As old players know, before release of Magical Rooms and Season 2, Tower I was only source for Black Wood. Also easiness of obtaining Blue Herbs and Lizard Tails from this tower really helped players. You can also collect Cotton and Wool from this to synthese nice clothes. Also liquids are always on demand in game. Be sure to collect Annatto (Which you can make Red Liquid with 5 of them), you can always sell them to players. To sell items, just click on Merchant Guild, choose sell item, enter a price and place it on market. After you place it, check it time to time, when it’s bought by other player, you will get gold from the item you sold (After 10% commission which Merchant Guild take for sales). If you don’t know what price to enter, you can always check Merchant Guild prices for decent items, by typing first letters of words as capitalised and keep pushing search button (Every time you close window and push search button, you will see different prices of the item you search).

Be Careful About Creatures!
Medicine Lizards (Blue Tailed Lizards) may look cute to you. But beware on Red Ones, because they will poison you. While poisoned, you won’t be able to walk normally. Your walk will be slow and this will make you an easier target. To prevent this as well as you can carry a Remedy (5 Aloe to make a Green Liquid, then merge Green Liquid and 2 Lizard Tails in your jar) with you, you can also synthese an hammer or an halberd which can be very helpful for little fast creatures on all towers.
Also you will see a Scarecrow on very last spot of this tower. Don’t worry, because it’s harmless, also you can get Straw from it (There are also some other Scarecrows (Training Dummies) under castle square which you train yourself on decent weapons and magic.).

And here comes the Beetle, you probably wonder what you gonna do. Well, since Beetle doesn’t have much HP, you can use high damage weapons like Axe against to it, but usage of Axe makes you to go close to beetle which may end by fail of your attack. So using wide range weapons like halberd or if you have patience, you can use bow against the beetle always better. If you only roll on Tower I yet, you can make wooden stick or club from Black Wood which you can collect from last spot. Also if you turn on the Magic Bag feature (From Right Click Menu), this will help you to organise items easily. When you finish run and come back to lobby, a window of the items you collected will be shown, so you can throw away, add to jar, display on your inventory or if you have Warehouse contract (Costs 20g or free for Premium Members), you can save them on Warehouse.

The Ogre from Halloween

Halloween at Tower I!!!

Every year on Halloween Tower I gets new Monsters in it, like this year (Which still happening). There are various Monsters on Tower I. You can get items from this limited time monsters and synthese nice clothes as well as furnitures for your room on Magical Rooms.

You can read more about Tower I as well as any item on Puppet Guardian and Magical Rooms on wikia page of our games. Thanks to Blahlala and Wero for their hard work on this page. Link: Mirror Realms Games Wikia

Agrees with cloudy, it brings back memories xD

Btw, might I suggest that you mods proofread each other’s articles before (or after) posting? Most people will understand the content fine, but I think the proofreading and editing do make a difference in the professional sense especially when you guys are posting on the official blog, as mods. It does mean more work though :P (and yes, I did spot some grammatical errors xD)
